Meet Amy Genson, MS
A Family Woman now Caring for Your Family
Amy Genson is a professional gerontologist with both Bachelors and Masters degrees from the esteemed Davis School of Gerontology at USC. Amy has been involved in the field of aging since 1993, as a clinician and as a licensed administrator.
Amy manages the care of a loved one while keeping the family updated in a timely and efficient manner. Amy acts with intention as she advocates for your aging family member. With her true caring and concern, she acts as the liaison between you and the older adult in your life. Amy combines her unique talents to serve the aging community.
“I am passionate about elder care and meeting the emotional and social needs of older adults and their family members. Through personal interaction with you and your aging loved one, I build authentic and meaningful relationships. Together we tackle the challenges of caregiving. My hope is that my true calling and compassion will result in your peace-of-mind – whether cross town or caregiving across the miles.”
Amy was fortunate to have had four healthy and active grandparents in her life well into her late teens. The relationships she formed with each of her grandparents paved her path into the field of gerontology and, also, shaped who she is today. Amy's own experience as a caregiver inspired her to start Genson Geriatrics Management. Since the time of Amy's grandparents, she has seen a rising trend of families facing a crisis and not knowing where to turn. Amy incorporates her detailed knowledge of a broad spectrum of local resources and services with current trends in senior care to enrich the lives of our local seniors and to assist family and friends struggling with caregiving.
